The participants of the study were 269 pre-service teachers attending a faculty of education in Kirikkale, Turkey. The data collected through a questionnaire form were analyzed through descriptives and Path analyses. The findings revealed that reading seems to be the most important activity for the respondents though ICT is gaining a precipitous role in leisure time. The models developed support the idea that gender and SES are important factors in understanding the nature of leisure preferences.
