The qualitative study showed that there are serious efforts in the area of quality assurance. Yet there are some problems in the process of planning and implementation. Limited strategic planning activities, lack of staff participation, limited infrastructure and financial support, the political situation of North Cyprus impeded the quality assurance processes.
