Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine candidate teachers’ attitude toward scientific researches. The study was a descriptive survey. Study group was composed of 713 education faculty students. Data were collected with a scale called “Scale of attitude towards scientific research” developed by the researchers. Data analysis involved calculation of descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, min, max, frequency and percentile), analysis of variance (ANOVA), LSD, and t tests. As a result: Teacher candidates' attitude toward scientific researches levels are “high” according to all the factors. Teacher candidates' attitudes toward scientific researches levels are significantly different according to departments except “Positive Attitude toward Researches” factor. Teacher candidates' attitude toward scientific researches levels are significantly different according to genders for “Be “the reluctance of help researchers”, “Negative Attitude toward Researches” and “Positive Attitude toward Researches” factors.
