Abstract
The aim of this study was to examine how classroom management models were reflected in an audio-visual source such as movies. In this study, the movie ‘Stand and Deliver’ is discussed on the basis of classroom management models by document analysis. Classroom management models and behaviour orientations of the scenes were tabulated. Classroom management process in the movie was explained through a figure that was created about the students’ learning. The findings showed that the movie was an example of an integrative model. This study is thought to be important and worthwhile as it is the first study related to the availability of a classroom management model in education. This study can be seen as an opportunity for teachers to question their management styles in their classes. It can be a guide for other studies that examines an audio-visual source such as movies for structuring information.
