In this study, it is aimed to determine the tendencies of the articles written on values within the scope of social studies education between 2005-2018. The data source of the study, where document review method involved in qualitative research methodology was used, consists of 108 studies carried out in Turkey by Turkish researchers between 2005 and 2018. In this study, the Document Analysis Form of the Studies on Values, which was prepared by the researchers and consisted of 8 categories as years, subject, methodology, method, study group/data source, sample type, data collection tool and data analysis, was used, and descriptive content analysis was performed in the analysis of the data obtained. As a result of the research, it was revealed that the studies performed between the above-mentioned dates were mostly conducted to determine the opinion about values education. It was concluded that in the studies, the mostly used methodology was qualitative research, the mostly used study group was teachers, the mostly used data collection tool was semi-structured interviews and the mostly used data analysis method was qualitative analysis and within qualitative analysis, content analysis.
