The purpose of this study was to analyze the views of pre-service teachers on teaching profession regarding technician-professional conflict. The participants were randomly determined 439 pre-service teachers -third year or senior students- from nine different departments in Faculty of Education at Çukurova University, Adana, Turkey. To collect the data The Views on Teaching Profession Scale (VTS) was used. With respect to the findings, it was seen that the pre-service teachers internalized “professional teacher” approach much more and thought that the undergraduate education contributed to this approach more than the other.
