This study aims to determine the level of values education self-efficacy beliefs in students studyingin a Faculty of Education. The working group of the study comprised 550 students studying in 7different teaching programs in the Faculty of Education, Gazi University in the fall semester of the2015-2016 academic year. The data was collected using the Values Education Self-Efficacy BeliefsScale developed by the researcher. The data obtained from the study was analyzed with SPSSsoftware. The data was analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, t-test for independent groupswhen comparing groups and variance analysis techniques. According to the results of the analysis,the level of self-efficacy beliefs regarding values education among prospective teachers differssignificantly depending on gender, academic achievement and their level of satisfaction with theirdepartments.
