The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship of self-control/management and Internet addiction. Participants were 309 university students who completed a questionnaire package that included the Online Cognition Scale and the Self-control and Self-management Scale. The relationships between self-control/management and Internet addiction were examined using correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. According to results self-monitoring, self-evaluating, and self-reinforcing were predicted negatively by Internet addiction. Results were discussed in the light of literature.
