This research is not football referees in Turkey "woman" was conducted to determine the standpoint of how it is perceived that women's football as a referee. Women constitute 16 active referees taking part in the working group of the study Turkey Football Federation. Phenomenology design, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the study. Descriptive and content analysis was used in the analysis of the data. According to the results of the research, female soccer referees stated that they display the characteristic of being a strong woman in every field by acting as a referee. Having an athlete's background and family-friend support were shown as reasons to start refereeing by the participants. When the experiences of female referees with club managers and athletes are examined; It was determined that they faced oppression, objection and self-seeking attitudes. The advantages of football refereeing were stated as being a popular profession and having a good financial return compared to other branch referees, while heavy training and exposure to swearing were stated as its disadvantages. While female soccer referees stated that there was a sexist discrimination from the perspective of the fans, they stated that they were not affected by the pressures from the tribune and that the decisions they made during the match were welcomed by the football players and the technical team. In addition, it makes them feel that their involvement in football as a woman gives them dignity in the society.
