The aim of this study is to determine the effect of leisure education on personal growth initiative and to determine the differentiation situations of various variables in leisure education and personal growth initiative. 493 sports sciences faculty students were included in the study, and the data were obtained by "Leisure Education" and “Personal Growth Initiative" scales. T-test, One-Way Anova, Pearson Moments Multiplication Correlation Coefficient (r) to determine the relationship between variables, and Regression Analysis to determine the effect of leisure education on personal growth initiative were used in the analysis of the data. The findings show that the participants have high levels of leisure education and personal growth initiative, the perception of efficient use of leisure time and taking leisure education lessons differentiate leisure education and personal growth initiative. At the same time, research findings revealed that leisure education has a moderately significant positive relationship with personal growth initiative. Leisure education has an effect of %25 in explaining personal growth initiative. As a result of the research, it can be said that leisure education programs are an important tool in increasing individuals' personal growth initiation.
