The aim of this study is to examine the effect of mobile application usage in Turkish music education. For this, first of all, a mobile application related to Turkish music education was developed. The study group of the research, in which the quasi-experimental model was used, was formed from the students of Gazi University Music Education Department. For four weeks, the experimental group conducted ear training studies for Turkish music using a mobile application. At the beginning and end of the experiment process, an achievement test was applied to the students. The validity and reliability studies of the achievement test were carried out with 105 participants from 3 universities. Wilcoxon signed-rank test was used to compare the pretest and posttest scores. The effect size of the result obtained was also calculated.
